Theme evening

Theme evening: Welcome to New France!

The New France was a French colony that existed from 1534 to 1763. Its capital was Québec City.

New France territory included, amongst other, Acadia, Canada (essentially the Saint-Lawrence River) and Louisiana. At its climax, it also included the Great Lakes region as well as Mississippi, Northern Prairies and a large portion of the Labrador Peninsula. *

It is our pleasure to invite you to go back in time and relive the atmosphere of this important period for our region.
